Breathing, Pulsing & Circle Walking
23-24 October (Saturday and Sunday)
Host: Michael Mettner, DrMettner.de
**NEW COURSE TITLE & DESCRIPTION**
Continuing Professional Development (CDP) Certificates are available at every course Paul teaches on request.
This seminar offers two distinct yet integrated tracks of study.
Everybody will learn or deepen neigong (components for developing internal power) through sitting, standing and simple qigong exercises. For the walking aspect you may choose between normal, heel-toe walking or Bagua Circle Walking. The idea here is to amplify the positive benefits of neigong through walking—the legs develop more strength and energy and quicker than can the upper body.
- Those choosing normal walking will learn how to establish deep internal content, which can be applied to each and every step you take.
- Those new to Circle Walking will work to establish a firm foundation necessary for embodying the neigong that powers mud walking, the classic technique for Bagua Circle Walking.
- Existing bagua practitioners will deepen their practice, revitalising and imbuing their current forms with more internal content.
This seminar will emphasise breathing and pulsing (opening/closing) to clear and release the nerves, soften the body and dramatically increase your energy. You’ll work directly with the nerves, tissues, joints, cavities, spine and organs to wake up and revitalise your internal systems.
- Breathing clears the nerves and initiates the pulse and the circulation of chi.
- Pulsing deepens the relaxation of the nerves, engages the fluids and develops your chi.
- Walking fully engages the vascular system, and increases production and movement of bodily fluids (lymph, interstitial, synovial and cerebrospinal). This in turn supercharges your chi.
Internalising your walking gives you a highly effective method for developing health and vitality—that can be done just about anytime, anywhere.
Paul will provide clear and detailed explanations and perform demonstrations of all of these powerfully effective exercises. He will answer questions and give personal corrections for those who are willing. Paul will also give insights about how to take the internal content into your sport of choice or regular practice forms, such as qigong, tai chi or the Single Palm Change.
Bagua practitioners: On Sunday Paul will offer a review of the 5th Palm Change for those who know it already.
