Touch the Earth Nature Retreats

Reconnect.

The concept is simple:

Energy Arts + Nature = Reconnection to Yourself, Others and the Earth

City life is defined by modern marvels—all kinds of gadgetry that is meant to make life easier and get you from point A to point B more quickly. Although technology helps us do things that our ancestors couldn’t even imagine, the fact remains that most of it puts us in direct conflict with our inner world.

Paul, having lived outside for three years, feels he learnt a lot from the experiences. It wasn’t just the freedom, but how alive he felt. He became connected to the seasons, to the life inside himself and felt the manic buzz when he entered the city.

Touch the Earth Nature Retreats are about tuning in to the forces of nature, feeling them in your body and letting them run through you. Then, you take that energy and use it in your practice—whether qigong, bagua, tai chi or meditation.

Many people simply can’t let go whilst immersed in the triggers for every day stress—cell phones, traffic jams, headlines of bad news and so on. Being able to deeply relax will amplify the results you get from your practice exponentially.

Then he will teach how to plug into and absorb the abundant field of energy always available to support all of life on our planet.

Later Paul will fuse the traditional Five Element practices within the retreats to tune in to specific energies at play—depending on the season and flow of events.

Join Paul on his 2010 Touch the Earth Nature Retreat in Devon, England (5-8 June):
Release Stress & Energise Your Body, Mind & Spirit

Great attention to each person, clear structure and progression. Paul's pace is good and, above all, in-depth. Great fun!

Five Element Neigong for Meditation

Within the Water method is a five-part neigong programme that can be applied to meditation. The five parts form a cycle of the Five Elements: Water, Fire, Wood, Metal and Earth. They all feed into each other after they have been embodied within their own separate sets.

We begin with the Element of Water and the downward yin flow of chi from Heaven to Earth.

Next we move onto the Spiraling Energy Body, which embodies the upward yang energy of the Fire Element.

The yin and yang forces are combined within the Marriage of Heaven and Earth, which corresponds to the Wood Element.

The Element of Metal is embodied by Bend the Bow spinal qigong, which causes strong compressions and releases of energy.

Finally all the previous physical and energetic practices are combined as we move into the Element of Earth with the qigong set Gods Playing in the Clouds.
