Learn the Wu Style Tai Chi Short Form
In four courses (24 hours), Paul will offer two tracks of study:- Beginning Level—for those who wish to learn the Short Form.
- Advanced Level—for those who already know the form and wish to refine, deepen and upgrade internal content specific to tai chi. Content will be specifically geared the towards developing the legs.
Both groups will learn/review choreography, thereby weeding out inaccuracies and improving physical mechanics that become the container for energetics.
Internal content will be layered to help you:
- Create whole-body motion by connecting the limbs to the spine.
- Remove blockages in the body on three levels—flesh, fluids and chi.
- Balance the body on the left and right sides, as well as the upper and lower halves.
- Awaken and develop the circulation of chi through the safe method of tai chi.
Advanced practitioners: Paul is willing to take you as far as you can go. If you come in with a reasonable form, he’s open to teaching you deeper and more complex methods of embodying neigong.
Paul will be available for questions during the one-hour lunch break. Bring your lunch and you're welcome to participate in more casual tai chi discussions with Paul and the other students during this time.
Please note: £10 is added to payments over £150 to cover fees. Bank transfers are free—download instructions by clicking here.

2 Ways to Attend
Developing strong, vibrant and healthy chi requires effort on many levels. All safe, deep and sustainable energetic development begins with the physical body, which requires learning an exercise form, such as tai chi. For the most complete and integrated teaching, Paul has carefully crafted eight classes to offer you a balanced, deep and intense three-month period of training. This is a rare opportunity to study neigong and tai chi in-depth with plenty of time to develop and practise between sessions.
Two tracks of study—attend one or both:
- Formwork—6 hours/class, 24 hours total. Accepting up to 16 students (minimum 8 students)
- Fundamental Internal Exercises—5 hours/class, 20 hours total. Accepting up to 24 students.
We are currently accepting registration for those students wishing to attend all four tai chi classes, all four internal exercises classes or all eight classes in the series.
